Who am I?

My name's Paul Hansa. I'm a CS major at Georgia State University, but I'm not just a code monkey. I'm a jack of all trades, with experience in photography, video editing and effects, graphic design, and front-end design and development. My work experience includes interning at a technology startup in the Atlanta Tech Village, a thriving community of entrepreneurs, as well as working as its company web developer. I've also worked in photography at a professional studio and in development at an Atlanta-based technology and marketing company serving international automotive manufacturers.

Software

As an aspiring programmer, I'm always looking for opportunities to expand my skillset. I currently excel in front-end development, but as a CS major, I'm dipping my feet into object-oriented programming and currently writing software in Java and C++.

I think open-sourcing is very important when it comes to code, so while I don't have much of my work out publicly yet, you'll be able to catch my upcoming projects on my GitHub. This website is on there too, by the way!

My mission as a photographer is do more than just make a person or place look pretty. I strive to tell stories about the things I shoot through the photos I create.

I do scenic, event, and portrait photography of small groups. Check out my contact info if you're interested in talking about my rates or what kind of equipment I have!

Video

In a market being slowly dominated by digital media, videos are the crucial key towards capturing an audience's attention. I edit videos with a clear purpose: to entertain and to impress.

I'm a self-taught visual effects artist, with experience in Adobe After Effects and Premiere. You can see both my editing and effects work in my reel below.
